    cylinder head crack

    hello, i have m50b25 cylinder head with crack in cylinder 3, it's between exhaust valves and oil channel, is it worth to repair?

    It's cheaper to find another one. welding these heads properly is a difficult task, because the weld puddle will actually chase the crack further into the head.

    All-Red/MHW style Professional Tinted Tail lights

      might not be as easy for him considering his location... BUT I was in Odessa this past August and saw lots and lots of E34's there. Maybe you can find a junked one over there? Not sure how difficult it is to find parts for them just know that its expensive!

        fwiw, i took a cracked head to a machine shop. total was going to be 900$ to fix, i found a head for 350$ with 90k miles on it, paid 200 for a clean, resurface, and over all check
