Can someone check there obd1 throttle body resistance?

    Hey guys,

Can someone measure the resistance of there throttle position sensor?

I think its the 2 lower pins. when closed it should read like 1k ohms, going up to 4k ohms while opening the throttle body according to bentley.

Does yours stop after 4k? mine looses the connection on the ohm meter when opened up all the way.

Bought a new TPS..and it does the exact same thing.

I am having issues with my car breaking up under wot. Thought that might be the answer...so I adjusted the throttle stop, so it never goes to nothing on my ohm meter when fully open. IE i adjusted to stop so it goes to 4k ohms then i mash it wot.

Then I noticed I couldnt do my stomp test anymore for the CEL.

    Cliffnotes:

Does your tps get any resitance when wide open? between the 2 pins on the tps?

Im assuming its supposed to be like that, so the stomp mode works??

    Thanks
    Jay
