    CCV drain options

    Quick question.

I'm thinking to re-route my drain line from my crankcase vent from the dipstick tube to the oil pan while I've got the engine on a stand. Annoyingly I didn't think of it until after the powdercoating was done so there won't be any welding a fitting to it.

I've got anything I need to drill and tap, but what are my best options to get some sort of 90/45 degree fitting on there without leaking?

I was thinking something simple like a nice tapered thread with sealant applied to the threads, and a swivel/locking joint to get the angle set where I want it?

    EDIT:
I'm thinking something like this, attached to a 90 with a barb on it

Port City Racing has a bunch of fittings on their web site. The biggest thing will be to get enough threads into whatever you are tapping into. If you put something inside the oil pan, be sure to set it up so it can't come loose in there. safety wire or JB Weld or.....

DesertBMW mentioned a similar method on my build thread.

I was thinking of using something like this:

      2007 Triumph Speed Triple 1050
