thats encouraging, when I started my project in a bar, the big goal was 10lbs per HP. Your numbers want me to get off my butt, wish the wallet was as gung-ho about my project as I am.

I have other stuff removed too like trunk is stripped out, and i have no A/C. Overall, i think i did pretty good on weight though. I might be able to lose 60 pounds but i dont really care that much about it.

2460 is superlight. My 318is without carpet/sound deadening, backseats, spare/etc was about the same (high 2400's) with the M42, 318 trans, and small-case rearend, with a/c attached.
What else did you take out to get yours to that weight? Are you running carpet?
2460 is nice to hear, considering you probably have 260-270 horsies

Yeah i was thinking i would be at 2600 or so ...... guess that explains why im faster than most people expect and the haters online for them ive got the hater blockas on jerks that see my videos and still dont believe my car is that fast. Yes i did remove the carpet and i am just using floor mats, the carpeting didnt weigh more than 30-35lbs, when i weighed the car i was near empty .

                My removal list:

-Trunk is stripped empty ,completely, all i have is a battery and plastic tray(that means no spare or anything related)
-A/C Lines and Cannister ,Compressor have been removed
-Black ,sound deadening pads (example :rear seat bench )
                -Rear seats
                -kick panel speaker covers
-Rear Decklid along with seat belts , i just have my speakers magnetically holding on back there
                -no muffler = 20 - 30lbs less
                -rear partof the center console
                -windshield washer reservoir and accessories
                -head light rear covers

maybe some other things but i cant think of them........i do however have lots of interior not removed ,basically if you open the door and look in you would notice no rear piece from center console and no rear seat and decklid. I still have all panels and most plastic trim

That's my goal, too. I have to motivate my wallet as well.
