Wiring Help Noob Question

So i need some help figuring out where exactly all the power or ground cables and wire go

Cable #1


Wire #2 this one is connected with the e30 fuse box


Cable #3 this as well is connected with the fuse box


Cable #4 This one is connected to the m50 wiring harness

We need pictures of where in the harness these wires are coming from. I suspect that one of the issues you are having is you have two wires to power the fuse box. On the E30 the power wire comes OUT of the fuse box, on the E36, the power wire goes TO the fuse box. You only need one or the other, not both.

Wire #2 doesn't look familiar to me at all. It looks like it's been spliced on by a previous owner. It's probably not important to get your swap up and going.

Brown is ground. Pull back the insulation and figure out which one is brown. That's the one that should go to the shock tower.
