where do these go!? finishing up top end rebuild

Im finishing up installing a new cylinder head on my 92 e34. started the job in april and I cant remember what goes where! its got the m50nv.

just got in the intake mani on yesterday, where do these go? theyre the 2 vacuum? lines on the under side of the manifold.

---and also there's one on the cylinder head itself, the fitting(10mm?) right next to the two sensors on intake side. where does it go? to the throttle body?

In your first picture, one goes to a port on the underside of the manifold near the firewall, the other goes to the plastic clip that plugs into the valve cover near the front of the engine.

In your second picture, this connects to a hose that goes to the intake boot.

Wait, that's not right. The port on the bottom of the intake manifold goes to the fuel pressure regulator. I think this is the hose in your first picture. The other port on the "turkey neck" connects to the port on the valve cover.

A hose connects that port to the throttle body heater. There is a small hose on the spider hose that goes to the other side of the heater. You can loop this if you want to eliminate the heater and simplify things a bit.

I used a fitting like this and a small piece of hose to connect the spider hose to the fitting on the head.


This eliminated the thermo switch that normally mounts in the air box as well.
