    m52 + g260

    I have been considering an m52 swap but staying with the getrag 260. I was recently told by someone with experience with this swap that the g260 doesnt mate directly with the m5x and that the bottom 4 bolts dont line up and is a real hassle. Every article and thread ive read on this swap doesnt mention any particular difficulty with mating the 2 except that the end result is about 12 degrees of shifter lean. Can anyone provide any insight on what he may be confused with or if he is right and i just cant seem to find any articles on it?
    Any info would be much appreciated.

    the bottom bolts don't line up, but they go into the oil pan and don't really provide a ton of structural strength. You pretty much have to just use the four big bolts, but it's not a problem.

      this doesnt result in anything long term does it? i mean after all its a pretty common setup right?
