Shifting into reverse - ZF320 vs Getrag

Just a quick (probably stupid) question regarding the ZF 320 trans and shifting into reverse. With my ZF320 it's super easy to shift into reverse, it just feels kind of vague; like I am shifting diagonally. Where as on my daily getrag; it's a definite movement left against the spring and then up into reverse.

It's not really a problem, I'm just wondering if that's normal since I've never driven a ZF. I'm using a UUC EvoIII SSK and it's fantastic going through the gears but maybe the shifter angle to reverse is off or a little too short?

Just looking for opinions from ZF drivers. Every search I did just brings up the detent issue.

Did you service the shift detents?

      Check that out.

        Thanks for the feedback!

The shift detents were serviced by the PO and I can see that they were, at least the outside caps look new / fresh.

I got a chance to drive it a bit last night, I think it's fine. It's more over and up than I recalled when I posted. I think at this point it may be the SSK more than the trans cause it is a short click compared to my daily which is all stock and a long throw.
