    m52 swap

Hey whats up kidz. My car is an alpine white 1984 325e..the good ol eta m20. Approximately 2 months ago a good deal came around for an m52 engine off of a 1997 528i (m52 2.8L). I immediately got hold of the engine and decided to do the swap. A couple of weeks later i started buying certain parts i would need (e.g., oil pan, engine mounts, new intake, manual transmission, new cluster, etc..). Working along side with my father we did the fitting of the engine and everything else in approximately 4 days. As of this moment everything is IN, just ONE more step: getting all the OBDII components--yeah, im staying OBDII. In the future though, ill be upgrading certain components, like the intake and such, to get those power increase.

so check it out, these are pics of some of the stuff i've added. Ill be taking pics of everything inside once i finish up the OBDII stuff.
    m52 28.L
    ZF tranny.

    uuc rk5 maybe?
Ate rotors, they performed beautifully in the month i used them.
not the sweetest looking wheels out there, but they are preety damn lightweight.
this is by the way, the star of the show.
btw, if you guys have good resources as to where i can find certain parts for the OBDII, send me a message. Right now im leaning towards just getting them off the stealership.

What is that strut-like thing next to the front MacPharson's strut?

that would be air bag suspension...makes the front of the car go up a few inches. I was experimenting to ride pretty damn low with m tech, that way i would be able to raise my car whenever need be. But they are going off soon because of the suspension upgrades im going to be doing.
