    tranny brace modification for 260

    is any required? still trying to decide which one will i use and the best combo for easy install/ cheap price......for the 260 i've heard u need some modification? how much and what need to be done? i havent seen pics of anyones so i wouldnt know.

    Yes, it is required as the 260 tranny is tilted 10 degrees to the right when bolted to the M50.

    The best way to do it would be to have a custom brace fabbed up, using the original w/ bushings as a reference.

    Mine is a modified stock brace, with only one side raised. I had to modify it so that it sits lower and the driveshaft is inline.
