Remote Brake Fluid Reservoir Parts List - Cheap!

I wanted to share this parts list for a remote brake fluid reservoir. The whole thing can be pieced together for roughly $40 using 2002tii parts. I picked this up from AutohausAZ. It's less than half the price of the kit on Ireland Engineering and uses the same parts.

Considering I initially put together the list and had it out in public for people (where it remains) it's neat you took the time to put it to use.

I made the actual IE listing literally last week because I did have people who asked for the parts rather than just a list. Bear in mind your list is missing rolled edge clamps (which you can order from McMaster) and a new reservoir cap w/ level sensor capabilities. When you add those parts you'll be closer to an accurate representation of the IE listing.

Lastly, there are only a couple of those reservoirs left. So while I get your good intentions, it won't last but a couple months.

Not ragging on you by any means, just giving a little background. Glad you were able to make something work.

No worries, I figured the additional parts you guys had would make a difference, especially the cap. Besides, the IE kit is still less than $100 so it's still a good price for an assembled kit. I based my list off of your listing actually and just hunted around. It's a one of those time versus money situation. Hunt for all the parts or pay a little more and have it all in one place.

I ended up buying this a few weeks ago in preparation for the swap but have not installed it yet. Any suggestions for where to actually mount the reservoir? From what I saw there doesn't seem to be that great of a place that is still higher than the master cylinder

I have a full 3.5" intake including throttle body with the stock E32 res and no motor mount spacers. ;-)
