could this m-coupe/roadster cat section fit an s50 conversion?

Does anyone know!? It might be worth trying this out and then do a custom section from the cat back. Thoughts anyone??

just try it out if its in your possession. if not you would need some spot on measurements to know if it will fit exactly. it will definately fit either way as its only metal and can be cut and welded. depends on how much work you wanna do if it doesnt line up as is.

Thanks for the input. Unfortunately they're not in my possession and they're sold. I think I'm going back to the e36 obdii cat idea... Can anyone confirm that e36 325 and m3 obdii cats are the same?

E36 325i cats are the same as '95 M3 cats, both OBDI, and have a 2 into 1 collector after the manifold down pipes and has the single o2 sensor port before it splits back into 2 pipes for the cats and back to the rear.

E36 328i are the same as '96+ M3 cats, both OBDII, and are dual pipe all the way. The 2 o2 sensors ports are in the exhaust manifolds, so there is no provision for one o2 sensor to read 100% of the exhaust gases, and then there are 2 o2 ports after the resonators for the 'after-cat' o2 sensors.
