engine shutting off

any of you guys experience your engine shutting off when decellerating? it happens only when i'm slowing down to stop and switch it to neutral. but it starts right up when i fire it. this happens about 2 or 3 times a day. i'm thinking the relays or the fuel pump. how do i check the relays? any other thing i need to check to solve this problem?

here are some pics of the relays i took yesterday. should i replace them? the prong are a little burnt at the base.

My brother had a similar porblem except what it was, was the reverse light cable . He didnt run it through the rubber shift boot he ran it on the outside and it rubbed the protective coating off the wires which made them touch each other and the chassis and would short out the whole car and fuses sometimes.

OT i have nothign to contribute, but it happens in my moms mazada every so often. And i like how you mounted your relays

anybody else has some ideas what's causing this?

i'll take shots of how the relays are mounted and post them.
