Various Torque Specs

Someone help me out here.

I need torque specs for:

-exhaust manifold nuts
-intake manifold nuts
-t-stat housing
-water pump
-oil pan bolts

most of my torque specs are gutentite with loctite, nothing has leaked yet.....knock on wood

m7 nuts are at 15
m8 nuts are at 16

-intake manifold nuts

m6 nuts are at 84
m7 nuts are at 132
m8 nuts are at 16

-t-stat housing

79 in/lbs

-water pump

m6 79
m8 16

-oil pan bolts

79

These figures are from a haynes... sooo... uhhhh... yeah.... dont trust them.

Yeah, those look good. Some are in lbs-in and the others are in lbs-ft. So don't go tightening the waterpump bolts to 79 lbs-ft!

Unfortunately the numbers are all in metric, but you should be able to convert fairly easily with any number of online calculators.

From the Bentley book:

-exhaust manifold nuts: 20 NM
-intake manifold nuts: M7-15 NM M8 - 22 NM
-t-stat housing- 10NM
-water pump M6 bolts- 10NM, M8 botls - 22 NM
-oil pan bolts: 8.8 bolts- 10NM 10.9 botls - 12 NM
