Hi all, been a minute since I've posted here but I have had no luck getting my M42 running again and am getting to the point of thinking that I should go OBD2 24V...so after looking around a bit, not a lot of inventory around me so I found a 2002 e46 325i with S52, 5spd (I assume ZF) and from a rear/side impact accident at a junkyard for $2100. Should I purchase the e46 as a donor or pass and keep looking for parts to do a swap, just looking for a pros and cons type discussion. Thanks in advance!

So should I pursue this option or move on... in a perfect world I'd just go v8 but seems like a lot of fab work where as the swap from another 3 series seems less daunting, thoughts?Comment

wiring is more complicated, ecu must be flashed, more issues over all then the M52. At $2100 its really not a killer dealComment
