What plate are we talking about? Sorry for my stupidity.

When i replaced my tranny, I reused the exhaust gaskets between the headers and exhaust flanges.
So replacing these could help?

I have some ebay headers.

The S52 (and M52) exhaust manifolds have air injection ports on the flanges up against the cylinder head. These need to be blocked off somehow.

Any shop with a welder (exhaust shop, general mechanic shop) will weld that off for ya, just make sure it stays flat on the bottom so it'll still seat flush with the head.

I'm getting ~20mpg on the highway, but I have a few things that still need some fixing--like busted wiring in the wiring harness that goes to the O2 sensor, and legit engine management.

Shouldn't be a problem. Just need to talk to him about it and get him the parts. We may need to make another trip up to Bobby's on Monday, right? We may be able to stop by TRM and talk to him about our setups. We'll probably have to give him some money for all this.

I think we can do yours a little different since you have your pipes... I had to have him make me some blockoff ports. We'll talk about it sunday.
