    S50 swap write-ups?

i had a bunch on my old computer and it broke and now i cant seem to find them again. I have the one from this site but i wanted to review many of them since the one i got from this site doesnt have any wiring write ups and such.

the ones i have seen are sort of vague on Motor mounts and setups using the E36M3 transmission. DONT TELL ME TO SEARCH I have been for a while but ive had better luck just scanning through the stickied thread to links. Im the kind of person that wont start on this until i know exactly what i have to do and what i need and get it all at once.

    thank you

E36 engine mount arms, e28 535i engine mounts.

I believe all of this info is in the first page of the DOHC thread.

There too many variables to just follow some write-up. Tell us your application and what you want in it. After you have read the Comprehensive Swap thread, then ask specific questions. We will help you.:D

there is not just one way to go about this engine swap. but the stickied thread got me through the entire swap without a problem.

An admin should go through and filter out all the useless babble.

yeah there is alot of information there but also alot of useless stuff as well.

If someone could sort that thread it could be much more useful

also my set up ill be running an S50b30 out of an 95 M3, im not sure about the ecu but im using the transmission as well.

I think im going to go with the 325ix Booster, unless the 320 booster is a better option. the modification required isnt a problem i have a machine shop. I understand i can use the stock motor mount arms but need e28 mounts, Also i understand wiring and such but i hate doing it so i might just buy the treehouse adapter, its one less thing for my to worry about. the motor will have a full harness and intake and everything. since its coming out fo my buddies car and hes putting in an s54, he has an e36 m3.
