      probably roughly 4k, but you can piece it together for cheaper, but i just don't have time to be messing around w/ that.

        I'm still torn between a higher compression vanos M50 w/S50 cams, and a rebuild on the current engine with a 4k turbo kit such as the one you described.

        I guess time will tell.

          well you can make more power w/ a turbo m20 but its sure to be more maintenance than the m50 you are describing. you could build a 3.4 liter m50 which could put down some good hp. swap the cam's and do a bottom end build i'd think you'd see some pretty nice hp numbers. i've seen s52's w/ cams put down 280whp. a 3.4 is plus .2 liters so maybe you could get to 300 i dunno.

          for now you should do the cams and basic bolts on which should get you about 205-210whp.
