    Hi
I know the big round one is for the air flow meter but what is the other plug beside it?? Where does it plug in?

    Thanks

evaporator purge valve from the carbon canister.

If you are not using this the ECU will throw fault codes up, what I did to get around it was solder a 68 Ohm resitor in place of it.
This confuses the ECU into thinking the purge valve is still there as the resistance is approx the same

I think it goes to the "fuel tank breather valve"

part number 1 in this diagram.

Not for sure though, have you already connected that part? Its a little black plastic thing that attaches into your vac. system. It has a two pin plug on it, and if i remember correctly, the plug on the harness comes off the afm plug.

It is located in the front left hand side of the engine bay in an E34, it basically recycles evaporated fuel vapour from the tank.

If you look on the underside of the throttle body you will see the pipe that was originally connected to it

nope. TPS is a three prong plug. that is the evap selinoid plug. if you are unsure, just check the wire colors.

                cheers, jason
