    If it's difficult in one or a couple gears, I'd say worn trans (synchros). If it behaves the same in all gears, master and/or slave. I'd replace both to have peace of mind on the hydraulics.

      It is behaving really bad 3rd to 4th under boost if I let the RPM and thus the boost fall I can double clutch it and shift it but if I run 3rd to 7500 at 18psi and tray to shift fact to 4th its almost completely blocked out. When I shift out of third under boost I can feel the tranny not want to disengage and then I let it out it is finally off load then when I put in the clutch again it shift into 4th no problem. If I short shift all day the tranny is fine but it is clear that it can't handle the may 400-500hp its making.

        I guess its ZF Tranny time. What all do I need to swap the tranny.

          Trying to find out of a 2001 530i 5 speed will work with my G260 clutch setup? Any input. It is a 23007503993 part # which goes back to an E36.
