Need to wire VSS on m50tu swap in 84 318i, but car doesnt have c3 plug?

I have my swap running now, but I still need to run power to the VSS wire. everywhere I read says I need to tap in to the C3 plug(yellow one) on the back of the cluster, problem is my car doesn't have this plug. from my understanding they yellow plug goes to the OBC, and I have a clock.
I have read that i just need to hook it up to the green section in the middle above the c3 plug. is that correct?


also do I NEED to wire in the CEL?

Nevermind, figured it out
