    parker guage pod question

I have been talking with Mark from ParkerPerformance and i am trying to figure out my guage pod. Can you 24v guys answer this question for me.?

"I have an adaptor block that should work for both oil temp and psi but I would like to know how much room you have around the factory Oil Psi sender. Just want to make sure you have room for the adaptor and the senders."

    Also a question i have.
Is the tread size for these s50 senders the same for m20?

    One more question i have.
For seting up my water temp guage would it be the best to just replace the factory sensor? I am guessing replacing the sensor would make my temp guage on my factory cluster not work. Even though i am putting in a more accurate better to read one I would still like for this guage to work, any way to make both work?

Sure, you can make the factory temp sensor work, just put the gauge sender in another place. There are plenty of places that sell short sections of aluminum pipe with holes drilled and tapped in them. Put one in your upper radiator hose and you're good to go.

I don't know what the thread on the M50 oil pressure sender is, but www.realoem.com probably lists it. There is a lot of room around it for adapters and such.

Yes you can unscrew the temp guage sender from the head and thread in the m20 one fine. Just make sure you swap the right sender out, dont change the ECU's sender.

Better yet though, I would quit playing the guessing game and just get a vdo sender and guage and thread that in. Numbers are better then colors lol.
