    I know I would be...

There is a guy in Canada who worked with VF to fit his kit in his E30, so they know what modifications need to be done to the standard e36/7 kit.

Well, I can't see it being a lot more than the e36 kit, which lists for $4500.

The Stage 1 kit, at 6 psi makes between 290-300whp out of the box.

Nope. I emailed them months ago about it... they said they'd be willing to sell me an e36 kit at full retail price (IE, no a la carte parts) and offer no help at all making it work in my car. Fuck em.

Well, having a vendor go to bat for you (evosport) might help the odds of getting something produced for an E30.

I'm not done with my swap yet, so I'm not bored with S50 powa quite yet. I'll probably do Schricks first, then see how I feel about it. 240whp (Schricks, 24lb inj, 540hfm) is probably plenty. But yeah, sometimes plenty is not enough.

                Goddammit.

I really want to just bolt a supercharger on a Saturday afternoon and not deal with fabbing parts and scrounging the parts dept. :(

Turbo. You can put together a turbo kit for under $4k.

                    Check BFC's FI forum.

I'd do a turbo if there was a bolt-up kit.

bolt on kits are well beyond $4k. i really wanna supercharge my m50. whats the specs on the kit, ie. pulley size, psi capabilities, price range? i have been tinkering with the idea of buying the charger, making brackets, and what not, but a kit made for the car would be awesome.

I just emailed evosport and the guy who replied said vf is 20 minutes from their shop and that they could get a pieced together kit for an e30 for $4500 that he said was bolt on. Sounds like if anyone here is really serious about it, you can get it very easily.

I'd totally be down, however I'd hope it isn't in limited quanity. Also for M50s maybe?

I can't throw down 4.5k right meow though.

The hardware is going to be the same for the M50, and they have software for the M50, so you should be set.

Thats very cool to hear that they'll piece together a kit for us. I'm probably going to go for it next spring.
