    ecu mounting

How did you guys with the 325s mount your ecu for the swap? There's no holes for the ecu to bolt up to the stock location of the stock ecu, the lip on the m50 ecu is only about 1/4in so drilling holes wont work. Please help with some solutions or ideas, thanks.

I'm using a e34 harness so it was to short to bring over to the factory location so mine's just jimmied up under and behind where cd player head unit goe's. It's not bolt down or anything just wedged up in there. Works a treat and doesn't get to hot or anything. It's rough but it work's..

The mounting hardware from an m42 powered e30 is what you're looking for.

Look up the part #'s on realoem and then plug them into the search at Pelican Parts. You can get everything you need in a week for around $24 + shipping.

Mines just sitting in the glove box, the glove box is busted and wont open and close right so I just slammed it shut in there and locked it.

Pretty ghetto but I have other things to worry about instead of that.

I used the e34 harness too

If I recall correctly, I think I was able to bolt it in using two of the existing holes and then used large washer on the opposite side to crimp the dme into place. The 506 dme was slightly narrower than my old e30 m3 dme.
