    M52 swap driveshaft question

So everyone says you just get a 97-99 e36 manual driveshaft and bolt it in but the e36 carrier bearing is different, do you have to take the driveshaft apart and put an e30 bearing on it?

Driveshaft is dependent on what transmission you will be using.
have you read the sticky at the top of this section?

Yes. I will be using a 5spd zf out of a 98 328i. I will also use an e36 328i driveshaft. My question is that the carrier bearing is different and im assuming it will not bolt up to the e30, so do I put an e30 carrier on it instead?
