328 vs m3 clutch slave question

when i first swapped in the s52 years ago, i used the m3 trans, clutch, and slave cylinder that came with it. the clutch worked fine, but you really had to push the pedal all the way to the floor to make sure it disengaged the clutch when shifting, because the clutch would engage when barely lifting the pedal off the floor. i ended up trying an e36 325 slave, which i have been using ever since then. this slave disengages about halfway up the pedal travel, which i like, but the pedal effort is significantly higher. i also swapped in an aftermarket clutch kit and ltw flywheel years ago, which im sure contributed to some of the pedal effort, but if i remember correctly most of the difference i felt was from the slave cylinder swap. as i get older im starting to want more comfort and easier driving, so i was wondering if anyone had any experience with a 328 slave cylinder. from some googling ive read some people say the 328 slave stiffens up the pedal a little vs the m3, some im guessing the bore diameter size could be between the m3 slave and the 325 slave? assuming all else were equal that could put the clutch engagement height between the two as well as the pedal effort.
