Uk M52 Supercharge build

Hello all!

i'm in need of some advice as engines are not my area of expertise and i'm struggling to find the answers i need :(

Im in the process of doing a super charger on my m52b28, before i go ahead and fit the kit on i want to get some engine work done on the engine to try future proof it.

I want to change the following..
Head refresh
Head gasket for a thicker one
ARP Head stud Kit
ARP conrod Bolts
Main bearings
Piston rings

I just want to know, whether the oem spec rings would be good enough or should i look into an upgraded set of rings?

The Supercharger kit is A ECS tuning v2 vortech charger but later down the line i'd like to up the PSI with a smaller pulley.

Could anyone shed some light on the following please?

I'm no supercharger expert but I would suspect OEM rings to be fine for this set up, and also not sure about a thicker head gasket. Under the lower SC boost I'm again just speculating with 0 research that you might not want/need to lower the compression with this set up. Interested to hear what others say.

That all sounds fine to me, including the stock rings. A friend of mine makes 650 WHP on a turbo M52 with just head studs.
