S52 OBD1 idle dies when engine is hot

    Hi,

Just took out my S52 OBD1. Last year everything was fine. Now the idle dies when the engine is hot.

I have a 180 deg thermostat, but the problem only appears when the engine is really warmed up, not just if the coolant temp reaches 180...

If I keep it alive, it pulls great. When cold, idle is perfect. I got the engine hot, to the point that the problem is present, disconnected the MAF and it is still having the problem.

When hot, it always die at idle... it's not intermittent.

Also, if I let it stand like 10 minutes, the problem id gone. I drive about 1-2 mins, and its back...

Note that when is got it i nthe garage, I put fuel stabilizer and I filled the tank this morning with fresh gas.

    WHAT CAN IT BE?

It was the hose coming from the intake elbow to the ICV that was bending to much and collapsing... fixed that and it idle greats!
