    Wiring Question

    So just wanted to confirm something about the s52 wiring. On the e30 its just one c101 plug from the motor to the car. On the M3 with the s52 it seems to have 3 different plug connectors. I know some of these wires in the other plugs dont need swapping over on the C101.

    Now my question is:

    (staying true to the sticky) Can we condense the entire s52 harness down to the (20-15) wires that need to be connected to the C101? Or are those other plugs supposed to connect somewhere i haven't seen mentioned?

    Out of the three plugs- the one you work with is the X20 (25 Pin)- here is the pinout I used- but every setup is different. I completely cut off the X20 and wired the C101 directly from the s52 harness....cut out what I didn't need from the DME and left other wires taped off in the loom for future things...such as using the x6130 eventually for an under-dash ODB2 port instead of using the diag port adapter.
