what size fuel line to use?

Do you guys know what size or what the right part number is for fuel line to use in the swap? Specifically, I'm talking about the soft hose in the engine compartment from the hard line to the fuel rail. Realoem is not exactly clear in that regard - too many little segments of hose, etc.
    Thanks.

I used some 1/4 inch fuel lines from my local auto parts store and some fuel injection clamps.

You might want to pick up some hose lube (aeroquip) to make them slide on a bit better as the fittings are located in pretty tight areas. Its hard to get leverage to push the tubing on and the lube allows them to just slide right on.

If you'd used the right size hose, you wouldn't have needed lube.

The hose is all 8x13. That's pretty damn close to 5/16th, but not exactly.

        Ya, 8mm vs 7.93mm (5/16"), no BFD.

        It might make a difference between 1/4" and 6mm, there's a .35mm difference there.

Just get SAE 30R9 5/16" hose if you're in a pinch and can't source 8x13. The R9 is fuel injection rated, and it'll last longer than regular-ass R7 hose especially on the return side.
