    what is this relay next to the dme, e34 harness I think.

    I have this weird relay next to the dme on a obd1 vanos e34 harness. I believe its from a e34. Retarding relay? What is it for? Can I delete it or work around it?


    Part number that I am getting is 12631740280 Retarding relay.
