Modifying intake for brake booster fit

hey, im wondering if im missing some obvious reason why not to shorten the intake for m50 swaps. Could i use some glassfibre compound to cut, shorten and remate the intake? Would it be too weak for boost?

Well, it's arguably easier to buy a different booster, or move the stock one over. Cutting and reshaping the manifold is tedious and is messing with a properly designed manifold. Also, I don't think fiberglass would last long with boost.
