Green Mounts Bulging-Whats their limits?

So I tried the condor mounts but they are to noisy for my street application on idle. Its unfortunate because they feel real good otherwise.

I popped in the green mounts, stud through the round hole, notch through the elongated hole. When I bolt the top nut down it sucks them inboard towards the engine (following the angle of the mount arm). The the outboard sides of the mounts look pretty bulgy. Is this normal? Seems like a lot of stress on the mount itself.

Update, moved mounts to the outer holes and they seem happier.
