    Opinion on these headers?

So I'm lookin to beef up my nonvanos e34 m50 before i install it.

On bf.c a vender is selling SS headers made from taiwan. Even Jordan got a set for his m3 ;).

    "2. SS header for E36 323i 325i 328i 92-98/ M3 3.0l 3.2l US model 95-99
    $215 shipped"

they are identical to the SS autochrome ones, and they are actually pretty good product. Even Jordan will tell you for the money they are a good buy. The welds looks to be much improved over the old ebay style headers. I think Im gonna end up running these on my m52 318i, for now im running the older shorty style ebays that came with the car. They work pretty well, but these longer tubes look much nicer in both fit and finish.

          Ask permit, he has them.

I've got em on my swap and they are pretty badass for the $$$, you can't go wrong IMO.

They touch the subframe. You'll need 4 washers on/under the passenger motor mount. They definitely won't stay pretty either.

Notice any gains? Or did the vanos nullify it.

Hey Permit, do you like them? Worth buyin?

How much do they touch the subframe?
                  Size washers?
                  Not stay pretty,like rust?
Any pics of them on ur car?

That's after a few weeks. The shine goes away almost immediately and starts turning yellow/purple/whatever.

They're not worth the effort it takes to squeeze into place...however if you don't have a/c, you might be able to put them in from the top.

I noticed a nice boost in the vanos-comes-on stage; 5th gear actually moves the car now, but I went from OBDI headers to these. Probably no change going from OBDII.

That's as good as you're getting because I don't feel like taking a picture right now. Touches nothing else but the subframe...might just be my bad luck though. You shouldn't be using the O2 bungs anyways since you'll only have one sensor, so quality isn't really an issue.

                              They sit rather low.
