Is that the stock rad. overflow tank on the 6-throttle car?
It looks just like a late model M20 tank !

So what is the 0-60 mph on the e30? Looks like 4 seconds?

Interesting about the cooling system on the Euro cars. I wonder why they didn't use the same rad/overflowtank setup as US cars. Anyone know? Clearence problems?

Do it man, go to a 3.0 high c/r when your bottomend gets tired (though that will probably be a long time).

Acceleration probably is around 4.5 or so if i would get full traction , right now i am stuck in a dilema . Should i do wider rims or should i throw on r 225/45/14 R-compounds.

yeah, that is the stock cooling system for all euro 6-cylinders, but the euro ///M has the larger radiator like the US cars.

That radiator looks to be the same as a US 318is that I have sitting around, might give it a try in a few weeks. Should be good for the winter anyway.

it is standard, original euro M3 radiator and overflow bottle, been in car since new, it is larger(thicker) than US M3 radiator, probably looks a little different because I removed the shroud when I removed the viscous fan

it's standard? When I searched the ETK it showed the euro e36 m3 radiator at 550m across and all other 6-cylinders I checked at 440mm across. 550mm is the width of the e30 frame rails, you can't fit a 550mm with coolant tank on it in an e30. At least I don't think you can.

I only checked a euro s50b32 motor though, maybe the euro s50b30 has a smaller radiator??

thanks. I love the idea of a smaller radiator with integrated overflow tank, it looks much tidier. It's just a matter of whether or not it will cool. Sounds like it will be fine. Probably gets a lot hotter in australia than it does here in Wisconsin.

I'm confused. Here is the diagram shown for your VIN number. Note the radiator has a remote reservoir and is 550mm in length

ooops, I thought you meant that you had the radiator with the overflow tank built in, the smaller radiator.
