I thought about taking out the windows in the doors because they are always down when its on the track anyways. Glass is heavy, plus there's the weight of the motors and associated hardware.
Mine was cracked, and haven't installed my crackfree yet. Also, I still have to finish up the A/C and it provides much easier access to the expansion valve and evap, incase they have leaks.
Yeah i just replaced my dash too its a pain in the butt thats how i know about all the sound deadening behind the dash , i left it cause i think it helps to keep the dash from rattling and moving around.
weighed my car on the way home today and it came out to 2600 even with 1/4 tank of gas, along with my boarding gear and tools and books. No A/C, no spare, half a back seat(been lazy to put it back in), full interior, no stereo
