Current cost of a good M50b25 head

Have chance to buy a good used head cheap but what are these going for normally. Car part has cheapest at $550.

Keep looking, i keep hearing about people buying complete motors for less than that. If you know a lot about this motor and you know its low millage than its tempting but it seems to high.

Oh that's not my price. I sourced one for $40 if I pull it. The car was running according to someone who worked there.

i was just at the local junkyard and it had what it looked to be a near brand new head on a m50. i was shocked

Depends. $500-$600 for full retail.

The problem is that good heads generally are attached to good motors, thus worth more together than apart.

I just bought a complete working NV M50 motor straight out of a 91 525i at the bone yard for $300.

Well pulled it today, cost me a whopping $48.55 with taxes. The 402 DME was $35.
