    ICV hose question

Hey everyone. I have a slightly more oddball question. I am building out all of the intercooler piping for my m52 turbo, and the only part I really need to modify at this point is a spot for the ICV hose being that the elbow I am using doesn't have provisions for it.

Is there any reason I couldn't just put a small filter on the inlet end of the ICV in place of routing it from the intake piping?

No. All the boost will leak out of the icv. If you can't weld the icv outlet to charge piping, you can put something like this to the silicone elbow: https://roosemotorsport.co.uk/perfor...ff-valves.html

All of my charge piping is aluminum, and my tig unfortunately can't do aluminum, and I don't have a spool gun for my mug, lol. I was looking at adapters similar to the one you listed as my option. I hadn't thought about boost leaking back through, so looks like i'll for sure tie it in properly.
