I love it. It really makes the e30 an awesome car. Super smooth, great low-end torque, pretty decent mileage (I get 22mpg around town and I beat the shit out of it). I'm kinda fucked in the head and want like 3x the power, but thats just me.

My 98 m3 used to feel like a pretty fast car. Now that I've been driving around this hopped-up s50 powered e30 m3, the ol' e36 is feeling a bit slow these days... Too bad cuz I really love that e36 m3/4.

Im debating will I have the same disease?
          Thats why Im pondering FI...

A obd1 S52 should put out some good numbers!
          However will it be enough?

Maintenance would be too high. Especially if it requires a re-build.
                I have pondered that route

On a budget do a 328 lower end with a NV head. Been looking at numbers and this seems an easy way for good numbers.

bmw332i said he dynoed at 282rwhp. However, he has extensive headwork and aftermarket valvetrain (+2 sodium filled valves, Ti retainers) AND all of the power mods -- Schrick cams, Euro HFM, 24# injectors, software. Plus, he has aftermarket headers, high flow cat and exhaust.

Cost was probably obscene. He mentioned the cost was the same as a Eurosport twinscrew.

So whos going to be the first e30s5xTS

As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.
You don’t want this. You want the trickiest, most dangerous, oldest model you can find. Only then can you prove to the world that you’re a man.
