M50 wiring help

I have an m50b30 that I stroked using m54 internals and supertech valvetrain.

Anyway, I am swapping it in my e30 right now. I dont have the intake or cooking hooked up. just trying to get it to crank before I continue.

when I turn the key, I get nothing. i hear the ignition switch, but nothing buzzing from the engine bay, no fuel pump action, nothing.

this makes me think that its DME related. I have a silver label 413 with ews delete chip. I clipped pin 7 from x20 connector on e36 harness (22rpd said to clip this ews wire). I think its DME related bc the fuel pump doesnt even turn on.

I have brand new fuel pump and ecu relays from dealership.

all my grounds are good.

Doesn't sound like the ECU is the only issue just yet. I would start by looking at your wiring. Your starter should still be able to crank (even without a chip inside the ecu).
Check your ground connections on the engine harness.
