Euro S50B30 Swap - What Exhaust??

My car is a 1990 325i 4 door. I'm having the center section that mates to the dowpipes custom fabricated. But I still need a rear exhaust... which is my best option for quietness at idle and performance? Will the E36 M3 rear fit my car?

    Thanks!

it'll fit with modifications but it looks goofy because it's so big and heavy. I have it on my car and it works fine and my car is quiet, but I would use a different one if I were to do it again. Find an aftermarket muffler either for the e36 or e30 and put it on the car. Will require modifications, but at least the e30 will fit in the opening and use the stock hangers.

    that's my take on it

If you want an aftermarket exhaust the AA gen3 is very nice all around, quiet at idle and sounds pretty nice at WOT .

+1 for the gen 3, I sold mine, but damn was it sexy and sounds really nice, very tuned not ricey or raspy etc. Only reason I got rid of mine was for money and to pick up a e30 brullen setup identical to jordos old exhuast.

The E36 M3 will fit, but the pipes will be located more toward the center of the car and not centered in the cutout on the E30. I have this setup and I am not really happy with the looks.

I would suggest, as the others above, to find something aftermarket. The profiles are smaller and you should have no issues with fitment as long as you have a competent muffler shop.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'm looking into the AA Gen 3 (as suggested) and the Scorpion exhaust for the E30 M3.

this doesn't bolt right up in an e30 though does it?
