    After Market Guages?

Does anyone offer aftermarket guages that will work with the OBD I electronics, and the factory E30 speedo signal garbaldee goop, and the factory fuel guage sending unit? I would love to just construct a cluster that offers a fully functional guage cluster that I can personalize with my choice of guages without mismatching manufacturers.

    Thanks Greatly for any help,

    Ed

Here is my suggestion: Lose the connection between the guages and the ECU/DME. Use whatever you want, but use their sending units too.

Then you are future ready for VEMS or MS&S!

IIRC someone said something about if you don't use the stock cluster your alternator wouldn't charge the battery or something weird?

Hey Static, why is my question in the wrong forum? I have an S52 swap in my E30 chassis car...hence my question being posted here.

I would gladly use the BMP piece, but I want to choose my choice of guages. I guess I should go ahead and go with a completely independent set up. Now, what about the charging system thing?

            Thanks,

            Ed
