    quick auto m50 wiring question

I've got an auto m50 wiring harness for my car and have been removing the auto connectors from it and getting my c101 wired in.

I read that you should take caution when removing the wires from the harness. I took off the round connector and all the wires from that connector ran to the trans plug, so I removed them all. (1 or two of these wires were spliced together and ran to the dme plug. I left these wires alone)

2 wires ran from the trans computer plug to the dme. I removed those. The rest of the wires I believe run back to an extra trans harness but I havent removed that yet. I'm going to check all the wires that ran from the trans plug to the dme in the etm to determine their use. Anything else I should be aware of?

looks like I found the wires running to the dme. One is an input to the dme for timing intervention (something with automatics). The other is an output from the dme for throttle position. The only other wire common to the dme and the trans plugs is a voltage signal wire. It runs from the dme plug to a splice and one of the wires ran to the round trans plug.

I'm hoping I'm safe in saying I dont need any of this in order for there to be no electrical running problems.

its not hard......... just cut off the tranny ECU plug, then follow each wire and cut it. i cut them all in the splices so nothing is exposed. the hardest part for me was finding the 2 big black wires, they go down towards the O2 sensor plug.
