    84 318 issues

Hey guys, Im having issues getting the mpg gauge / tach signal to work on my 84 318 with a m52/413 dme. Im not really sure what wires to connect where, I dont have the c101 connector in my car. Any one done a 24v with a early 318?

When i fitted the M50 to my pre facelift(1984),the wire for the tacho was on a small 3 pin plug near the steering column.
You are looking for a black wire (tacho) and a white/yellow wire (fuel rate),thats if its the same for a US spec car?

Hope this is of some help!

This will answer everything.. and C104 is located on the passenger side behind the glovebox (near the ECU)

There is a little connector behind the glove box that has 3 wires. One of them is black with some protective sleeve. This is the tach signal.

I do not know where the mPG wire is, i didn't give a shit on that :)
