        Welfare -

What is there that hasn't been covered here. I really took a look at your post history, and it would seem you need to learn more of the basics, let alone worry about where else to look.

I'm seriously not trying to be a smartass, but is english your primary language?

The thread stickied at the top of this page is quite possibly the best information on the 'net. Most def the cheapest. Read it and re-read it until you can discuss it all intelligently and you won't need to ask anybody anything, you'll be as much an expert as anyone here. Seriously.

It might seem like a bit of an overload, so go grab a beer, round up a comfortable chair, click the top thread and settle in. By about the time your 3rd beer is done, you will see some repeating information, and if you are willing to do this a few sessions overall, you'll be just as qualified as any of us.

        It ain't rocket surgery.

thank you for your respectful comment above, in fact, yes english is my primary language, in fact has been for 25 years, my posts, i appoligize, are placed at work, where my primary internet connection use is as i am there 12-14 hours per day running a 250,000 a month auto repair shop, so durring the course of the day am afforded short, as in seconds of time between customers, calls, ordering parts, babysitting 13 techs, and all other assorted things that come with above job.

just because one does not have a "post history" does not mean that they have not been lurking the board for more than 5 months, does it?

OK - my reason for asking on the language thing is that we have a lot of folks on another site that english isn't their primary language - you can either act stupid towards them or put in the extra effort to do your own translation, as they have great info, just maybe not the best english.
              Glad you didn't go postal.

Post count doesn't matter - look at mine. Real low for how long I been here.
Lurking is good, but the other post where you weren't up to speed on the basic terms of this forum means the training wheels are still on your bicycle, or were until that day. It just gets old to deal with, so that's why responses to your topic haven't been flying in the door. I'm just the messenger here man, so you can get pissed at me or be happy I'm willing to tell you how it is, your call.

My suggestion is to print out the stickied thread up top (yes, it's really worth reading) since you only have short bursts at work to concentrate. Did you ever have a 2 minute college class? No?-me either. Now we know why.

If you have a computer at home, buy the Project Orca disc and the OBD 1 conversion disc from Zionsville Autosport. Then you can browse the info and full scope of work as your time allows.

You sound like you're at work enough, $150 for the discs will be a sound investment to give you the info you want with plenty of step by step pictures. Dwight is a pretty good guy to deal with, and you'll be able to make informed calls into him for ordering some parts for the conversion.

So either $150 or use your company printer and get it for free.

Trust me, when you get beyond the basics and know what you're talking about and post a real question that makes people think, nobady will look over on the left side of the screen to see how many posts you have or how long since you registered.

              Good luck.
