    what spark plugs you guys using

    it's time to change the spark plugs and the PO had platinum 4s in it, it ran ok i guess. I checked on bf.c and everyone on there said the platinums suck, and recommend the ngk brk6e plugs. What are you guys using for plugs?

      oem

      As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.
      You don’t want this. You want the trickiest, most dangerous, oldest model you can find. Only then can you prove to the world that you’re a man.

        BKR6E = V-power - decent plug
        BKR6EK = Semi-Surface Gap - awesome plug
        BKR6EIX = Idirium Standard gap plug - awesome plug

        All are fantastic, choose what fits your budget. I really like the design of the BKR6EK, the semi-surface gap style -- nothing shrowds the flame front

                I tried to change the plugs today... what the hell.. it seems the standard spark plug socket 5/8 (?) doesn't fit or something weird is going on.

                      I'm using the NGK BKR6EIX.

                      Bosch OEM are ok, too. Bosch Platinum +4s, not so much.

                            This douche at autozone kept trying to get me to buy the Bosch Platinum 4's. I wanted a single prong/electrode plug, but I had to settle for the Platinum 2's.

                            For some reason, their computer was saying that the Platinum 2's were OEM. Im confused. I woulda bought NGKs but they were out of stock.

                              Ever try to buy a Mahle oil filter at Autozone? Exactly. They dont carry it. But they do have one that they call OEM, and its crap. Bah I say. Order up the NGK's from any european dealer etc. Anyone that carries NGK plugs can get you the BKR6EK's. Hell, I think NAPA even gets them.
