Euro Spec S50 Rev Limiter??

Yeah sure, that's what every car owner says till a couple valves get tweeked.
The rev limiter is not nice to motors. The motor has goes from no gas to full gas. It does stress the motor without a doubt.

here is a vid of a friends M3R (1 of only 15 ever made) he bought it brand new in '95, and has done nearly 100,000miles in it, mostly tarmac rallies, autox and track days, this is how it has been driven its whole life

I drive mine the same, but have only had it for nearly 3 years, and only done about 40,000 miles in it since, neither car has had any sort of engine problem

The rev limiter is not a good place to leave the motor period. The limiter is there so the motor does not destroy itself a last defense not so kids can't have fun and not worry about bouncing off of it.
And what does your buddies car have anything to do with the rev limiter? I guaranty you hi hits it once in a while but does anything but sit on it.
Many of the Honda owners think it's ok to sit on the rev limiter as well...till there motor takes a shit.
Just because a motor can take lots of abuse and can sit on the limiter for some period of time does not mean the motor likes it or can take it all day long. RPM's are what kill any motor anyways.
A rev limiter cuts the fuel or there'd be tons of unburnt fuel waiting to blow up in your exhaust.
