pics of your remote brake fluid reservoir mounting?

i'm planning on using a 2002 master cylinder reservoir on my swap but i'm not sure where to mount it on the shock tower. anyone have pics of their setup?
i searched the archives and only found a top view shot. a side shot would be ideal to see how and at what level the reservoir is mounted.
    thanks.

It may have been my picture...

On the strut tower there's a slot for a speed clip - those metal clips where you can thread a bolt through. There should already be one on the passenger side for either the coil or ac lines I forget.

I created a t shaped metal mount where the bottom had a hole for the bolt / speed clip and where the top had two holes to mount the 2002 reservoir. You need to bend the T a couple inches from the bottom so that the reservoir sits level.

i think it was your pic.
      thanks for the reply.
how high up on the shock tower did you mount the reservoir? are the 2 outlets above the level of the top of the master cylinder, or does it matter? what i'm worried about is not mounting it high enough and having the hoses between the reservoir and the m/c dip down and then back up to fit into the m/c outlets. i didn't want to create and air pocket or anything. thanks.

I mounted the reservoir as high as possible while still clearing the hood. I had more than enough clearance so that the bottom of the reservoir was still higher than the master cylinder. Again once you're making the bracket its pretty simple to eye ball it. The hardest part was actually trimming the hoses to the perfect length so they wouldn't kink - the DSM hoses didn't seem to be as pliable as the BMW ones.

Why not use the stock bottle?

With an iX type double brake booster the stock reservoir interferes against the throttle body intake elbow.
