    It wouldn't be worth it to pull the motor or the headers to hit it with a hammer. Too much work right now, I just want to see if my car works, all I need is one part and then it's off to the races;-)

    Here's some pics of the Shorty Headers, just got them installed today. They look sexy. Got them from Ireland Engineering as well.





    Here's the final clearance... They are much closer than anticipated, but I think urethane motor mounts will help. They are only about a mm or so from the strut tower



    And this last picture is to show progress... I'll show more later.

    thx for the pics...hows the clearance on the shorty headers?
    i dunno yet, they are close, we'll find out next week when I get my exhaust finished.. Other than that they are close to the strut tower. only half an inch away but with it urethane bushings, I think I'm good.

    You can get the e28 5 series urethane motor mounts from IE for $98 a pair.

    cool, pix as soon as you can, i get alot of flex when i hit corners hard, i need to upgrade my current ones that are from the e34 to a much stiffer and firmer ones, btw how much do the IE ones cost?
