I have an S52 going into my E30 and can't seem to narrow down whether or not I can use the OBDII TB with the OBDI setup I plan to use. Do I have to use the OBDI TB on the OBDI manifold or will the OBDII TB work?
as far as i know about the OBD1 swap, you MUST use the obd1 (older&bigger) intake manifold and throttle body....the throttle bodies arent interchangable from obd1-2 manifolds.

yes, the obd2 has the linkage attached at the bottom and the obd1 has it on the side, makes it easier to attach the throttle cable too. Its not too difficult to find one for sale.
